Bruce Crampton, playing in just his third tournament since returning from a lengthy layoff, shot a final-round 68 to win the Paine Webber Invitational on Sunday.

Crampton, who missed 11 weeks this season for a stress-related illness, earned $67,500 after pulling away on a day that began with 21 golfers within one-stroke of the lead. Tom Shaw finished second, one shot back.
