The Utah Association, American Mothers Inc., is seeking nominees for State Mother of the Year.
A $15 entry fee is required, and portfolios are due by Friday, Jan. 25, with the winner to be named at the organization's state convention Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Clarion Hotel.Nominees must be at least 45 years old, legally married, the mother of one or more children with the youngest being at least 15 years of age, be an exemplary individual and be an active member of a religious body.
A church or some other organization must agree to sponsor candidates. The Utah Mother of the Year will automatically become a nominee for National Mother of the Year.
