More than 42 hours after being abducted from his driveway, millionaire rancher and philanthropist Bob Thomas returned home in a taxi, tired but unhurt, federal agents said.
FBI agents waited to interview the 66-year-old polio victim until he had rested, refusing to release any details about how Thomas apparently obtained his freedom Wednesday without help from the law enforcement agencies searching for him."Our main interest is that he is back home safely," FBI Special Agent Allen McCreight told a news conference.
FBI agents have made no arrests, but were looking for three men.
