SHARE DEATH: FLOYD ABRAHAM JOHN GOLD

Floyd Abraham John Gold died Jan. 20, 1991 at his home of causes incident to his age.

Born Aug. 5, 1909 in Salt Lake City to Thomas and Florence Annie Robinson Gold. His mother died when he was five years old and he was raised by his father and stepmother, Martha Helen Heidel. He married Charlotte Marie Schulz March 1, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served and LDS mission to the East Central States where he served as District president, and served three Stake missions as well.He loved his family dearly and his most joyous moments were spent with them. He was a skilled craftsman, and enjoyed woodworking and building and teaching his children and grandchildren those same skills. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and a good game of golf. He was known for his positive attitude, friendship to all and love of life, he will be missed tremendously. We know he is at peace and is now given the opportunity to once again visit with those loved ones who have gone on before him.

Survivors include his wife, "Lottie"; sons, Gordon V. Gold (Linda), Bennion; and Steven R. Gold (Sandy), West Jordan; daughters, Nancy (Mrs. Dennis N. McFall), Holiday; and Janet (Mrs. Douglas Stevens), Aurora, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his sister, Vera; brother, Orson, and his grandson, Scottie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday Jan. 24, 1991, 11 a.m. in the Mt. Olympus 5th Ward Chapel, 3640 East 3520 South, and Thursday, one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
