Nellie Jane Brimhall Merrell, 95, former Ogden resident, died January 27, 1991 at Missoula, Montana.
She was born March 4, 1895 at Payson, a daughter of Joseph and Eliza Court Brimhall. She married R.E. Merrell, December 24, 1917 at Provo. He died in 1964. She had been a resident of Ogden for over 40 years where she was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She has resided in Missoula since March of 1985.She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Markham, Missoula, Montana; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Irwin Brimhall, Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Roma Pfouts & Lucille Drollinger, both of Payson. Three brothers & four sisters preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Payson City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. or Thursday 10-10:45 a.m.
