Le Roy Daniel Flynn, age 73, died January 28, 1991 at his home in Salt Lake City.
Born September 29, 1917 in Dolton, South Dakota to Charles and Margaret Kappenman Flynn. Married Norma Ann Shaw, September 7, 1945 in Salt Lake City. Member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Veteran of World War II, U.S. Army. Worked as a cement mason. Member of Cement Mason Local #568 for 40 years. Member of Friendly Dance Club and Birthday Club. Le Roy was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.Survived by his wife, Norma Ann; two daughters, Stephanie Flynn, Michelle Hooten and son-in-law L.J. Hooten; one grandson Christopher Hooten; mother, Margaret Flynn, Parker, South Dakota; two brothers, Louis Flynn, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Joe Flynn, San Diego, Calif.; five sisters, Letha Juffer, Yankton, South Dakota; Mary Healy, Kearns; Teresa Betlelewski and Rita Sellers, both of San Diego, Calif; Loretta Falor, Smithfield. Preceded in death by father Charles Flynn and two sons Patrick and Michael Flynn.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 1, 1991 10:30 a.m. St. Patrick's Catholic church, 1072 West 400 So. Friends may call Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. Scripture service 7:30 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
