Vergia Molen Fischbeck Adams, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on January 2, 1991 in Vernal, Utah of heart failure.
Born October 25, 1907 in Lincoln, Idaho to Earnest Lawrence Molen and Susetta Ormond Molen. Married Albert Edward Fischbeck on September 4, 1937. Vergia spent most of her married life and raised her children in La Canada, California. She was an active and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Fischbeck; they were later sealed by proxy on August 19, 1978 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.On November 2, 1974 she married Arza G. Adams of Vernal, Utah in the Provo LDS Temple for time. Arza and Vergia were privileged to serve as a missionary couple in the Sacramento mission, and spent many happy days together. Vergia will be missed by her family and many others who knew and loved her. Special thanks are extended to John and Danna Dee Smith who gave Vergia loving and tender care during her last six weeks of life.
Survived by her husband, Arza G. Adams; sons, Rodney A. Fischbeck, Salt Lake City; and David E. Fischbeck, Mesa, Arizona; and a daughter, Sharlene Gries, Williston, North Dakota; a sister, Evelyn Robison Thurmond, Idaho Falls, Idaho. She ws a grandmother to 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, at 1 p.m. at Maeser 4th Ward, 2745 West 1000 North, Vernal. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Thomsons Vernal Mortuary on Friday, January 4, from 7-9 p.m. or one hour prior to the services at the Church. Interment, Ammon Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
