Alvin Sudweeks, age 88, died January 6, 1991 at his home of natural causes.
He was born July 6, 1902 in Kingston, Utah to Alonzo and Jennie Ackerman Sudweeks. He married Emma Nelson, July 8, 1925 in Richfield; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a plumber, worked for Manti City as the Water Master for many years. A member of the Manti 4th LDS Ward.He is survived by his wife, four sons and four daughters, Donald, Kay, Paul, Richard, Lucile, Edith, Carol, and Marilyn; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother Calvin; six sisters, Bertha, Dalma, Jennie, Lola, Allie, Ethel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12:30 p.m. in the Manti LDS Stake Center; where friends may call two hours prior to services. Interment, Manti City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Buchanan Mortuary.
