Although the media insist on calling her "Miss," a newlywed Elizabeth Taylor told a department store crowd she now thinks of herself as "Mrs. Fortensky."
The actress interrupted her honeymoon to promote her new $200-an-ounce White Diamonds perfume at a Robinson's department store Thursday while new husband Larry Fortensky was in court on an old drunken-driving charge.Taylor, 59, said that at first she was angered by photographers who hovered over her wedding in helicopters but decided "to shine it off."
"This is my wedding day and nobody's going to spoil it," Taylor said she decided. "And you know something - nobody did."
Fortensky, 39, appeared in Riverside County traffic court in Corona on Thursday on 4-year-old charges of driving under the influence with an open container of alcohol in his vehicle, said attorney Richard Moore.
Trial was set for Nov. 20.
