To the editor:
After reading the story in the Deseret News about the investigation into the senseless and tragic murder of Stephanie Henry, I was appalled to read that KSL-TV would allow a story to be released over the air saying there were condoms scattered all around her bedroom, after it had been stated by sheriff's detectives that none had been found.Whoever has the responsibility of editing their news reports before allowing them to be aired over television should be given a formal letter of reprimand for permitting such a story to be broadcast. They should also be instructed to send a letter of apology to Ms. Henry's family.
For a television news team that claims to be No. 1 in news coverage, they dropped to an all-time low with this story.
