The Salt Lake Valley Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, 1580 E. Vine Street (6100 South).
Mrs. James V. Duffy will narrate a slide presentation on "State Period Rooms" at the NSDAR Museum in Washington, D.C. These 33 rooms offer a view of life in early America. The chapter will collect gifts for the DAR-sponsored Crossnore School in North Carolina. Crossnore offers a stable, healing environment as a residential group setting for children from families in crisis.NSDAR goals are historic, educational and patriotic. Mrs. James A. Grada has been appointed regent to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Mrs. Fred Astroth. For information call Mrs. Grada.
- The Princess Timpanogos Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Monday, Oct. 21, at 12:30 p.m. at the Alta Club, 100 E. South Temple.
Attorney Carol Jones will address the theme, "Where There is a Will . . . ," and state regent Mary Urie will report on the Continental Congress 1991 and the NSDAR Centennial celebration. Refreshments will be served.
