Randy Maag has been appointed by the Utah County United Way as its new loaned executive. He is the office manager for the American Fork and Pleasant Grove office of Utah Power & Light and will be with the United Way through the end of October. Ken Rogerson, former writer for the Utah County Bureau of the Deseret News and a native of Orem, has taken the position of public information manager with the Utah Symphony. He will be the symphony's community and media contact person. Renn M. Patch has been appointed director of government affairs for Nu Skin International. He comes to Nu Skin from the law firm of Pary and Romani in Washington, D.C. His duties will include making sure that products and procedures are in compliance with federal regulations and coordinating all other company interaction with government agencies. Dr. Valton King has joined the staff at the Intermountain Rehabilitation Center at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and comes to the hospital following a six-year tour with the U.S. Army. Barry Drage, a licensed clinical social worker, has accepted a position as outpatient social worker for Mountain View Hospital. He will be working to establish an outpatient counseling center. He has worked for LDS Social Services for the past 17 years. Kristen Knight, Orem, has been signed exclusively with K.L.C. Talent Management. She is a professional vocalist and songwriter and has appeared at Caesar's Palace and other casino resorts in Las Vegas.
