John W. Eastman, 66, died October 11, 1931 at his home in Wamego, Kansas. He was formerly from Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born November 17, 1924 in Herriman, Utah, son of Sara Forman and Alonzo Eastman. Mr. Eastman was an Army Veteran of World War II, and served in the Phillipines. He worked at Kennecott Copper Mines from October 1954 to his retirement, December 1975. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was married to Donna Rieb in 1954 in Salt Lake City; later divorced.Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Kirk (Charla) Douglas, Wamego, Kansas; one grandson,

Houston, Roosevelt; Chirelle Yarbro, Truman, Colo.; two brothers, Heber Eastman, Whittier, Calif.; Arch Eastman, Riverton; three sisters, Mrs. James (Leila) Bennett, Medford, Oregon; Jessie Sharp, Midvale; Pearl Merley, Sandy. He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Eastman, May 8, 1933; his mother, Sara Forman Eastman

Johnston, Jan. 28, 1978; his sister, Ora Faye Anderson, March 4, 1982.
