Richard Petty, "The King" of stock car racing, said he will race one more year before ending his driving career.

Petty, who began his driving career in 1958, said he will race the entire 1992 season on what he called "a fan appreciation tour."Among Petty's seemingly unreachable standards are 200 victories - 95 more than anyone else; seven series titles, seven Daytona 500 victories, 10 victories in a row, 27 in a season, and, so far, 1,152 starts.
