Sentencing is scheduled Dec. 20 for Sarkis Soghanalian, who was convicted by a federal jury Monday on six of nine counts of conspiracy and intent to violate arms export control laws. The jury of seven women and five men deliberated for 14 hours over two days.Judge Federico Moreno ordered Soghanalian jailed until sentencing. He had been free on bond during the trial. Soghanalian faces up to 24 years in prison and $240,000 in fines.
