Ivan Samuel Robb, our kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed quietly from this life on October 18, 1991 in Paragonah, Utah at his former home, "Robb's Roost," while preparing for the deer hunt.
Ivan Samuel Robb was born in Paragonah, Utah on March 11, 1916 to two wonderful parents, William Milton Robb and Catherine Jones Robb. He married Zelma Barton Robb September 16, 1935; marriage later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. The were the parents of seven children. Zelma died February 11, 1973. He married Vivian Ferguson Oct. 18, 1973 in the St. George LDS Temple.He left behind his wife, Vivian Robb, St. George; sons, Gaylard and Val, Paragonah; Ray, St. George; Douglas and Charles, Salt Lake City; daughters, Jackie Benson, Payson; Sandra Stevens, Parowan; Teresa Mason, Cedar City; Penny Ward, Las Vegas, Nev.; Ginger Hulet, Farmington, New York; Connie Smoody and Sandy Walkenshaw, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Karen
Ferguson, St. George; 44 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mabel Robinson and Katherine Smith, Salt Lake City; and Ella Wallace, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Zelma; brothers, Charles and Myles; sisters, Sarah and Florence.
Services will be Tuesday, October 22, 1991, at 11 a.m., at the 8th Ward Chapel, 166 South Main, St. George. Viewing will be Monday evening, 7:30-9 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 58 North 100 East, and at the chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment immediately following the services at the Paragonah Cemetery.
