Twenty-two percent of the women voted for Gibson, with Paul Newman and Kevin Costner in a second-place tie with 14 percent apiece.
Harrison Ford and Arnold Schwarzenegger tied at 9 percent, retired Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf won 6 percent of the vote and basketball star Michael Jordan had 4 percent.
