Adelina Burascano Lingos, loving mother and grandmother passed away October 22, 1991 at the age of 95.
Born February 12, 1896, Sicily, Italy to Pietro and GiuseppinaAragona Burascano. Married Louis M. Lingos, June 23, 1918 in Salt Lake City; he preceded her in death September 17, 1983. They were married for 65 years and worked side-by-side from marriage to retirement in the grocery business, owning first the Liberty Cafe and then the Lingos Grocery, a total of 51 years.
She is survived by her children, Helen Lingos, Josephine Kelaidis, Glendale, Calif.; John and Fotine Kelaidis; six grandchildren, Mary Kay, Charlie Bonica, Kristine and Chuck Dover,
Steven and Sally Kelaidis, Esther and Richard
Gabaldon, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mark and Dixie
Kelaidis and Tina and Tony Funaro; nine great-grandchildren, David and Danny Gabaldon, Los Angeles, Calif.; John, Adelina and Andrea Dover, Nickolas and Michael Kelaidis, Anthony and Lennie Jo Funaro. Preceded in death by husband, a son, Michael, daughter, Marina and all her 14 brothers and sisters.
At her request the funeral services will be held at Mackay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Saturday, October 26, 1991, 11 a.m. where friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7.
Because of her love for flowers, the family suggests donations, in her memory, be made to Holy Trinity Cathedral Courtyard, 279 So. 300 West for the spring planting of flowers.
Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
