To the editor:

I would like to give a special pat on the back to the zoology and wildlife biology students at Kearns High School. Through their efforts over the past three years, they have raised $4,660 to help reintroduce the river otter into Utah.In their way, these students are saying they really care about Utah's wildlife and the future of our state. It is a credit to these young people to have worked so hard to help the DWR with this project.

Outdoor enthusiast and wildlife lovers need to take note and help support our non-game animals. All residents can show the same concern that the students from Kearns High have for our state's wildlife by donating to the non-game fund on their Utah state tax return.
