The Boston Celtics took another major hit in practice on Tuesday when Dee Brown, being groomed to replace injured Brian Shaw at point guard, tore some cartilage in his left knee.

Brown, the NBA's slam-dunk champion and a member of the all-rookie team last season, was scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery today. He will be lost indefinitely.
