Muffet Reeves, math/science specialist for the Jordan School District, has received the Karl Jones Award in elementary mathematics education. The award is presented by the Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics in cooperation with the Utah State Office of Education.

Reeves has taught in all levels of public education, in regular classrooms and with gifted students.
