Six Sandy residents are running for two at-large seats on the council. The four leading vote-getters will advance to the general election on Nov. 5. William Clough had filed to run but later withdrew.Only one incumbent - City Council Chairman Ron Gee - is facing a primary, in one of the most heated campaigns in the county. In that District 4 race, the two candidates with the most votes will advance.
