The security camera did not clearly register the service station burglar's face. But it did capture the distinctive stripes of his underwear when he bent over to pick up dropped groceries.
Police Sgt. Tony Moller said Tuesday that after several eyewitnesses identified the man, police went to question him.The man at first denied having anything to do with the looting of the station and its food mart. Then they asked him to drop his trousers. Moller said the evidence was evident and the man confessed.
