Charter Summit Hospital is offering free screening for depression from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10.

At that time, the public is invited to hear the latest education information about depression as presented by Dr. Daniel Rapp, medical director of the Adult Psychiatric program at Charter Summit Hospital.A confidential questionnaire focuses on changes in appetite, sleeping patterns and whether a person has experienced hopelessness, loss of pleasure in ordinary activities, loss of self-esteem. About 15 mental health workers have volunteered to help with the screenings. For more information, call 561-8181.
