SHARE BRIGHAM COUNCILMAN, 5 OTHERS VICTORIOUS

The only incumbent candidate for City Council is still in the race for one of the three seats to be decided in November. Daniel S. Nelsen, who has served one four-year term on the council, came in second in the primary with 696 votes, behind challenger David T. Kano's substantial total of 857 votes. The next vote-getter was Mark A. Walker, 673 votes.

Rounding out the field in the general election will be Bill McGaha, Robert B. Shelton and Joseph A. Beykirch.Incumbents Leslie Dunn and Max Muir did not seek re-election.
