The law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy has entered into a partnership with Jeppson & Lee, a Reno law firm, an expansion marking the first Nevada office to become associated with a Utah law firm.
David E. Salisbury, law firm president, said attorneys Roger W. Jeppson, Keith L. Lee and Gregory V. Etter have established the new office. Richard K. Sager and John A. Snow of the Salt Lake office also will be associated with the Nevada office."Nevada is rapidly growing, both in population and business opportunities. Jeppson was with the Reno firm of Woodburn, Wedge & Jeppson since 1982 where his practice focused on natural resources law. He is a graduate of the Duke University School of Law.
Lee received his law degree from the University of San Francisco and is a member of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development and a director of the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce.
Etter practices environmental, mining and water law. He graduated from Washburn University School of Law and received an undergraduate degree in geology from Colorado State University.
Snow is a Brigham Young University graduate and received his law degree from Arizona State University. His practice focuses on general civil litigation with emphasis on commercial transactions.
Sager is president of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and received his law degree from the University of Utah School of Law. He is chairman of the Hard Minerals Committee of the American Bar Association's Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Section.
