Former San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Bobby Duckworth pleaded guilty to a charge of raping a 29-year-old woman at his Carlsbad home.
Duckworth, 32, an unemployed stockbroker, faces up to six years in prison at his scheduled Dec. 17 sentencing before Municipal Court Judge Michael B. Harris.In exchange for the guilty plea Friday, prosecutors agreed not to pursue another rape charge involving a second woman which Harris dismissed last month at Duckworth's preliminary hearing.
