Robert "Robbie" Dean Nielsen, age 26, died Nov. 17, 1991, Price, Utah.
Born May 4, 1965, Salt Lake City, son of Joseph N. Nielsen, Jr. and JuDee Lauriski (Zachreson). Member of the Catholic Church. Graduated East Carbon High School in 1983. Received Sterling honors while attending East Carbon High School, All State Basketball player, received Elks Teenager of the Year Award, received numerous other athletic and scholastic honors. For the past seven years he was confined to Castle Country Care Center due to injuries received in an auto accident in 1984.Survived by mother and stepfather, JuDee and Marty Zachreson, East Carbon City; two sisters and spouses, Terri and Scott Yelonek, Spring Glen; Tiffany and Steve Metcalf, Ogden; grandmother, Florence Lauriski, East Carbon City; also survived by two uncles, Frank E. and David Lauriski and families. Preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Frank J. Lauriski, Jr.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10 a.m., Good Shepherd Catholic Church, East Carbon City. Friends may call Mitchell Chapel, Price or at the church one hour prior to service on Wednesday. Committal Service, Wednesday 2 p.m., Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.
