Those who picked Magic Johnson on their Deseret News fantasy basketball team - 2,000 out of 30,000 did so - will be able to replace him at mid-season, according to Stephen Kelsey, circulation director for the Salt Lake newspapers.
This year's contest provides for a trading option in January, whereby contestants can replace up to two players."Many readers applied for a trading access number when they turned in their entry form. This will enable those participants to trade by phone. Others can pick up a trading application form at the newspaper offices, 143 South Main Street, between Nov. 15 and Nov. 29 and make their trades by mail," Kelsey said.
