Brigham Young guard Nathan Call, who had 35 points in Cougar road victories last week, has been named the Western Athletic Conference player of the week.
Call scored a career-high 30 points and hit nine of 10 shots from the floor in Brigham Young's 102-86 victory over Tulsa. He also had a game-high eight assists in the victory over James Madison.It was the first time since 1949 that the Cougars started the season with three consecutive road victories.
Other nominees for the WAC honor included Prince Stewart of Texas-El Paso, Byron Wilson of Utah and Phil Lott of Hawaii.
