The Chauntenettes Ladies Chorus will provide music to help listeners "count their holiday blessings" Monday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m. as they perform at the Orem High School, 175 S. 400 East. The program is free.
The chorus, under the direction of Maurine Madsen with Irene Jenkins as accompanist, will try to provide Christmas spirit for the whole family. Joining the chorus as special guests will be Conrad Dunn with his violin and Carolyn Puckett, local KSRR radio personality. Also featured will be Carene Jordean with a solo and a Christmas reading and more.The Chauntenettes will perform many old-time Christmas favorites such as "Pine Cones and Holly Berries," "Still, Still, Still," and "The Little Drummer Boy," along with such other carols as the Polish"In the Dark of Winter" and a Russian piece, "The Sleigh."
