One of Santa's helpers was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend as he was closing up the Santa booth at a downtown mall.

The 35-year-old photo manager at the ZCMI Center's Santa booth was finishing up some paperwork for a money deposit when a man approached him about 10 p.m. Saturday and said, "Don't lift up your head or I'll shoot it," according to a Salt Lake police report.The victim told police he threw two bank deposit bags toward the man without lifting up his head. The robber then grabbed the bags and ran off with an unspecified amount of money.

Police were unable to locate any suspects.
