Annalisa Shubert, 9, of Orem, is among assistants for Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Merlin the Magician in lighting the towering 60-foot Christmas tree at Disneyland's Magic Kingdom. Annalisa, a student at Bonneville Elementary, helped kick off the holiday season, which continues through Jan. 5 and features yuletide music and decor, the new "Mickey Nutcracker" stage show and the "Very Merry Christmas Parade."
