Geologic studies show 500 million tons of 0.4 percent copper and .01 ounce per ton of gold in a deposit near Mazama, Wash., owned by Centurion Mines Corp., 285 W. North Temple.

Spenst Hansen, chief executive officer, said geologic experts studied Centurion's property that consists of 20,000 acres. They studied the Mazama Porphyry System that is contained on the land and constitutes one of the largest underexplored gold/copper porphyry systems in North America.Hansen said geologic data demonstrates that the gold/copper deposit is open to expansion on the northeast, northwest, southeast and to depth.

Based on 120 drill holes to date, the property contains proven reserves of 149 million tons of copper-bearing material (more than 1 billion pounds of copper).
