To the editor:
I am a student at Taylorsville High School, and I am writing concerning prayer at school graduation. I understand that people against graduation prayers feel that the prayers oppress their religious rights. But you have to realize that they are never forced to pray, just simply be silent for a moment. On the other hand, when prayers are forbidden, those who would like a prayer are denied their religious rights.I feel that it is unfair for the ACLU to decide what is best for everyone, and the only fair way to solve this conflict is to have each school district take a vote, allowing the majority to rule.
