Charges were dropped against a woman accused of failing to return a rented movie videotape.
"I didn't want to go this far with this, but I was prepared to go to trial," Noelle Lester said Tuesday. "I had witnesses lined up."Lester was arrested Nov. 11 after a deputy pulled her over for a burned-out headlight. A records check revealed an outstanding warrant for failing to return a videotape rented two years ago.
She said she was never told about the warrant and insisted she returned the tape of "The Serpent and the Rainbow" to the video store.
