Dwight Albert "Dub" Swindle, 84, of Monroe, Utah, died December 8, 1991, in a Richfield hospital.
He was born April 12, 1907 in Monroe, Utah to Joseph Albert and Luie Etta Hodges Swindle. He married Ardelle Jensen December 1, 1930, in Richfield, Utah; solemnized June 27, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died January 6, 1986. He was a member of the Monroe Lions Club. He was employed by Western General Dairy for 46 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church, where he was a Scout Master, served in the Young Men's presidency.His children are Beverly and husband, Robert Nilsson; Roger D. and wife, Karen Swindle, all of Monroe; six grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Brose H. Swindle and Ward G. Swindle, both of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Mortensen and a brother, Dr. Dan J. Swindle.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 1991, 1 p.m., in the Monroe 2nd LDS Chapel, 140 South Main, Monroe. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Wednesday evening, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward chapel in Monroe, Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial, Monroe City Cemetery.
