State House member Norm Nielsen, R-Orem, says he'll hold a pajama party Friday if a study on making Utah Valley Community College a four-year school is objective and positive.
Nielsen said he'll be on the street at noon on State Street and University Parkway (University Mall) to fulfill the promise."If the study is positive, I'll keep my word and be on the street at noon. I hope it's warmer by then," Nielsen said.
Last spring Nielsen promised that if the Board of Regents retained an independent consultant to study the Utah Valley Community College four-year issue and an objective, positive report was given, he would stand on the street with a sign saying "I was wrong" dressed in his pajamas.
The study will be presented to the public at 9 a.m. Friday.
