They've killed the daytime Christmas music in the east side of Municipal Park.
The reason?Attorneys in the adjacent courthouse realized jurors weren't paying attention to their opening arguments.
As a result, "Jingle Bells," "White Christmas" and "Deck the Halls" can be heard in the west park during the day, but not in the east part of Christmas Village until after 5 p.m.
When attorneys in 2nd District Judge David E. Roth's court inside the Municipal Building saw that jurors in a felony trial were not listening to their opening statements, they asked the judge to intervene.

"I didn't order it to be turned off completely, just long enough for the trial," Roth said.
