R. Kent Buie, president of R.K. Buie Co., Thursday was elected president of the Utah chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks during a meeting at Little America. He had been president-elect.
He replaces Mark Rothacher, associate at Bonneville Mortgage Co., who received a plaque for his 12 months as president.Other officers are Steve Bogden, vice president of Price Development, vice president; and Jim Light, president of Wallace Associates Business Properties Group, secretary.
Others are Tom Ellison, an attorney and chairman of the estate and banking section of the law firm of Van Cott, Bagley Cornwall & McCarthy, public affairs chairman; Glenn McKay, vice president of Barlow Nielsen Associates, program chairman; and J.R. Clawson, vice president of the Bradford Group, public relations chairman.
