Jean Lester Doutre, 72, died December 10, 1991 in a local hospital.

Born November 27, 1919, North Spring Valley, Nevada to Stephen and Albertson Doutre. Served in the Navy during World War II. Member of the LDS Church. Bachelor's degree in agriculture. He invented vacuum silage system. He married Valarie Martin, divorced. Married Nancy Jill Peabody, divorced. Married Arlene Cassidy, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple.Survived by wife, children, Michael, Martin, Robin, Lynn, Janine Currie, Moe, Joan, Catherine, Alicia, Marie; two step-children, Linda Griggs and Shirley Bennett; 10 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Thorpe.

Funeral services Saturday, 11 a.m., Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South. Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the Church, 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Family suggests contributions may be made to Salt Lake Veterans Administration Hospital.
