The Utah County Republican Party has named William L. Fillmore, a Provo attorney, chairman of the party's Lincoln Day Dinner committee.
Janice Hunter, Utah County Republican Party vice chairman, said, "The Lincoln Day Dinner is the party's main fund-raising activity for the year. A very successful Lincoln Day dinner will ensure our ability to support and encourage the best candidates in 1992."The Republican Party traditionally holds Lincoln Day dinners during the month of February on former President Abraham Lincoln's birthday. The event for the coming year has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12.
Other members of the dinner committee include Cherie Lyon, Millis Ashby and Bruce Peacock.
