To the editor:

I would like to communicate some of the interesting experiences I have had with sprouted wheat in my fight against multiple sclerosis.I was not familiar with sprouted wheat or the effect it would have on my MS symptoms until 1977 when I attempted to sprout some wheat the day before Thanksgiving. I began the process by soaking the wheat overnight and rinsing it every three hours.

The day after Thanksgiving, I awoke expecting to have the ability to see and was surprised to find that my vision was totally gone. After eating some of my sprouted wheat, I was delighted to see rejuvenation of sight begin to occur in my left eye. Because of this experience, I continued to use sprouted wheat.

My vision in the black/white spectrum continued to increase on a rod by rod basis until the entire eye perceived light. Color vision did not return until August 1978. The effect of sprouted wheat did not seem to occur until about 45 minutes after ingestion.

Through experimentation, I found that growing sprouted wheat for approximately eight days and eating the wheat grass in conjunction with the sprouted wheat seemed to create a greater enhancement of sight rejuvenation.

In addition, a broken femur in 1988 seemed to heal faster and stronger due to this combination. Also, the left-side paralysis I experienced in 1990 was alleviated by eating sprouted wheat. Sprouted wheat and wheat grass have given me the necessary ingredients to balance my diet and combat my MS symptoms.
