Norman John "Ted" Thomson, age 80, passed away December 6, 1991, in Salt Lake City.
Born December 13, 1910, in Salt Lake City, the son of Orson Spencer and Martha Ann Poll Thomson. Married Cladie Mae Becker March 25, 1943 in Salt Lake; she preceded him in death, September 27, 1978. Later married Nina Reid Trusty, May 5, 1986, in Salt Lake. Member of LDS Church. Served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years. Officer in the U.P. Old Timers, Local # 12. He was also a sales agent for State Farm Insurance Co. Member of Happy-Go-Lucky Harmonica Band. Ted was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.Grandpa Ted will be deeply missed by all.
Survived by wife, Nina; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vania and Vern Christenson;
Noreen and Bill Huntzinger; Deborah Kay
Thomson; three step-children, Margaret TrustyBaldwin, Clyde Trusty, and Jeff Trusty; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday, December 10,
1 p.m., Wilson Ward Chapel, 1860 South 300 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward Tuesday, 12-12:45 a.m.
Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
