President Bush is scheduled to visit Salt Lake City on July 14, Salt Lake County Commissioner Mike Stewart said Thursday after a meeting at the White House.
Bush is to address the annual convention of the National Association of counties, of which Stewart is president. About 6,000 officials from counties nationwide are expected at that convention.Stewart said tentative plans are for the president to address county officials in the Tabernacle on Sunday, July 14, after the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's weekly radio program.
