William Lewis Seibert, age 64, died at his home on January 31, 1991, of heart failure.

Born April 2, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan to William Henry and Katie Irene Lewis Seibert. Married Barbara Jane Hayer; they were later divorced. Married Hilary Smith February 18, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 21, 1974. He was a member of the LDS Church, holding the office of High Priest. He was the assistant of Civil Defense Director of Wayne County, Michigan, and was also in retail sales in Michigan and Utah. He attended Wayne State Univ., Detroit and was an avid reader. He enjoyed classical and folk music and sang in barbershop quartets, musicals and opera. He was a 32nd degree Mason in the Brightmoor Lodge, #540, from 1947 to 1972.Survivors: Wife, Dr. Hilary S. Seibert, Tooele, Utah; children, Kirke, William Gary and his wife, Sue, all Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Eric (Lise') K. Pizza, Dayton, Ohio; Stephanie Barwick, Detroit, Michigan; Gary David, Salt Lake City, Utah; nine grandchildren; sisters, Jeanne Green, Carlsbad, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Barnes, Lavonia, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 1991, at 12 noon, in the Tooele 12-16th LDS Ward, 1100 Skyline Drive, Tooele. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary, 110 So. Main Street, Tooele, Utah, Sunday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, from 10:45 to 11:45 at the church. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
