On February 25, 1991, Betty quietly and peacefully left her loving family; her husband, her daughters, and her sons-in-law were given time to bid her a tearful farewell. She had been hospitalized briefly for pulmonary infections.

We, her husband and her children, knew her as a loving, caring person always trying to ease another's burden because her life-long search was for happiness for those she cared about. Betty loved the beautiful things of life; she loved the surrounding mountains and often spoke of her happy times hiking the hills. She loved flowers and music and sang songs to her children. She often wrote poems to commemorate special events in her life. We miss her.She has left behind a loving family which learned much from her sweet nature and so in a sense she continues among us. Her father, William Dale, died in 1958; her mother, Mary Dale, her brothers and sister and their spouses, William and Lynnette Dale, Jay and Betty Dale, and Helen and Martell Strong, live in Salt Lake City. Her husband, Samuel P. Plowgian, misses her as do her daughters, their spouses and her grandchildren; Ann and Salvador Pineda, Jean and Karl Hendrickson, Gina and Mikel McCullough and Chase, Kcy, Chelsea "Cute", and Keshia McCullough, and Meridee and Samuel Frampton and Joshua, Natalie, Morgan, Sadie, Collin and Gabriel Frampton. She is loved and missed.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 1st, 12 noon, East Millcreek 12th Ward Chapel, 2702 East Evergreen Avenue. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
