Billy Coleman Hathorn, age 64, died February 26, 1991 at home, of natural causes.
Born December 22, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Samuel L. and Gertrude Felts Hathorn. Married Darlene Watlington, October 28, 1947. He was a structural steel designer for Neiderhawser Steel Co. Served in U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Valley Forge in World War II. He is Past Commander Post #71 American Legion and recipient of many state and national awards. Member of the Cottonwood Elks Lodge #2344.Survived by wife and sons, Philip Coleman Hathorn, William Scott Hathorn and wife, Kim L., Kevin Craig Hathorn; grandchildren, Chad Coleman Hathorn, Jeffrey Scott Hathorn, Justin Leon Hathorn, Maegan Hathorn, Chelsea Hathorn, Jacob Thomas Wallis Hathorn; sisters and brother, Daisy Lee Gold, Betty (Babe) Sisk, James Yelton.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17000 South Redwood Rd.
