It may be a lame duck, but Arkansas wants to fly off undefeated in its final season in the Southwest Conference.
The third-ranked Razorbacks (28-2) can accomplish Sunday with a victory over Texas that would give them a 16-0 record in the SWC. Meanwhile, they'll have to be satisfied with a record-tying performance in a 106-74 rout of the Baylor Bears on Tuesday night.The victory gave Arkansas, heading to the Southeastern Conference next season, three straight SWC titles. Only Southern Methodist (1955-57) had previously accomplished that.
"I think the first conference championship (two years ago) was still the sweetest," Lee Mayberry said. "We've got a chance to go undefeated in conference. So, we shouldn't have a problem getting up for Texas."

The visiting Orangemen got 24 points from Billy Owens to win their first outright Big East championship.
Adrian Autry added 15 points, Michael Edwards 14 and Dave Johnson 13 for the Orangemen (25-4, 11-4).
No. 7 Arizona 89, Stanford 51
Chris Mills scored 22 points and Khalid Reeves 19 as the Wildcats throttled Stanford, extending the nation's longest home winning streak to 62 games.
Arizona (23-5, 11-3 Pacific-10) held its three-game lead in the conference.

Mark Randall scored 26 points and Adonis Jordan 14 as the Jayhawks took a half-game lead over Oklahoma State in the Big Eight race.
No. 13 Kentucky 79, No. 24 Alabama 73
Richie Farmer scored 16 points and Kentucky joined North Carolina as a winner of 1,500 games.
Alabama (17-9) got no closer than 75-71.

At Tallahassee, Michael Polite had 21 points and 14 rebounds and Florida State wiped out a 16-point deficit.
Florida State (16-10, 8-5 Metro) climbed back into the game with an 11-2 spurt to open the second half.

Kit Mueller had 16 points and Sean Jackson made three 3-pointers to spark a decisive 14-4 spree at the start of the second half.
The victory was the 26th straight at home for Ivy League champion Princeton (21-2) and kept the Tigers undefeated in 12 conference games.
No. 22 Pitt 88, Boston College 76
Sean Miller and Jason Matthews combined for 39 points, including nine 3-pointers, and the visiting Panthers beat the slump-ridden Eagles.

Colorado St. 71, Wyoming 68
At Laramie, Wyo., Lynn Tryon's 21 points and a missed Paris Bryant 3-point try at the buzzer led Colorado State to a 71-68 Western Athletic Conference win over Wyoming.
Colorado State ups its conference record to 6-9, moving to 15-12 overall. Wyoming falls to 7-8 in the WAC and 17-10 overall.
