"Growing Your Business in the '90s" is the title of a business enhancement symposium Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2, at Weber State University.

It is sponsored by the Entrepreneurial Program at WSU and will be held from 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 1 and 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. March 2. Workshops will deal with financing with venture capital, lessons in financing, time management, perspectives in marketing, estate planning and international business development.The speakers will be Joseph Cannon, president and chairman of Geneva Steel; Dan Jones, founder and president of Dan Jones & Associates; Chad Olsen, chairman and chief executive officer of Pro Image; and Oren Phillips, vice president of business development for Thiokol Corp.

Jeff Thredgold, senior vice president and chief economist for Key Corp., will give the keynote address during the March 1 luncheon and Lt. Gov. W. Val Oveson will speak during the 6 p.m. dinner meeting.
